Astar Thoroughbreds is a Thoroughbred breeding and racing entity. After spending nearly 20 years in Minnesota, we recently acquired another farm in La Grange, Kentucky.

We now get to experience true horse country, between Louisville and Lexington. We wake to seeing our favorite animals grazing all over the neighborhood and even better, we live across the street from a race horse training facility and therefore get to interface with accomplished horse men and women every day.

With over 100 owner and breeding stock wins, several stakes winning thrills, and years of enjoyment, some things have worked for us while others have not. For every honest and dedicated horse person we have met we have also met some folks that, unfortunately, could never be described that way.

We hope our critical and direct perspectives on the sport we love will help others enjoy this great sport.
